The PJ Library is an organization that reaches out to families by sending out a book or CD each month which includes a wide array of themes related to Jewish holidays, folktales and Jewish family life. They set up a little reading and singalong at our local bookstore called Copperfield's. The theme was Chabot.
We had a really good time learning about Chabat. Cam was very excited and wanted to be really close to the guest singer/reader. We had to move her away so the other kids could see:). She even got to decorate her own challah bread cloth to take home.
