I'm 2!

Well folks, Cam turned 2 today. I can recall what I was doing right now, back on that day. It's still VERY clear, just check out the very first post on this blog:).

We had a very exciting and scientific birthday party this year at Scientopia Discovery Center in Napa. As you can see below, fun was had by adults and kids alike {that's our goal, really}. The theme was The Very Hungry Caterpillar mostly used in the cupcake decor. Mmmmm....cupcakes, made by our friend Lisa Colley.

We had a butterfly painting activity that included bubble wrap, used for texture. Everybody got to take home their own picture. We also had an activity where we used Mentos and Diet Coke together to shoot fizz way up in the air {a la Mythbusters}. The kids had a blast with this and all wanted to take a turn. There would be only three, but some parents are definitely going to try this at home:).

I thought I would post a little video of Cam as well...she'll Loooove seeing this when she's a teenager. Teehee.
