It was a little hectic, but I made it to my OBGYN's office for my 6 week check-up. I had seen other moms bring in their babies before, but didn't realize what a challenge it would be. I ended up having to feed Camryn in my hospital gown while I was waiting in the exam room. I hadn't fed her before without my nursing pillow and it was totally awkward. Plus, when the doctor finally came, I think she was surprised to see me mid-feeding. I must have had a deer-in-headlights look as she immediately offered to come back. In total I was there for 2 hours...things definitely take longer when you have a baby in tow!
It was a good opportunity to get a photo of Camryn and Dr. B since we didn't get one in the hospital at the birth. I think Camryn is having a painful memory of the last time she saw her:).
